All Terrain
I am never sure how to describe myself. I can ski everywhere except maybe the park, I leave that to freestyle. I can handle the off-piste and crud no problem, although I have to work a little harder in the deep stuff than my brother freeride, but I do say I carve a better turn especially when it's firm. So that's me, I can do it all, I am amazing, a true jack of all trades. (NZ Skier Mag, May Issue 2008) |

Freeride
My favorite runs are off-piste, powder is my number one, crud is another favorite. Kiwi wind packed powder and variable snow are not a problem, and groomers are always a great warm up for the real deal. Don't be put off by my wider waist, it has advantages and I still have enough curves to make me easy to turn. I am not a real lover of the ice but I guess neither are you. You may see that I sometimes have a turned up tail, this doesn't mean I am a pipe jock, more that it's there for when you need it. (NZ Skier Mag, May Issue 2008) |
