Our programmes are designed to suit your needs, timeframe and budget, and give you the opportunity to gain an internationally recognised qualification and open a pathway to overseas travel and employment within the Snowsports Industry.

Aspiring Guides
Aspiring Guides Mountaineering are the local area specialists for ski touring and ski mountaineering. We run practical and intensive backcountry awareness courses which are based at our hut near the summit of Black Peak. We are the official ski mountaineering guides for Treble Cone. Join us for an exhilarating touring experience which gives you a unique opportunity to go beyond the ski area boundary into the backcountry with the security of your own qualified guide. We operate at Treble Cone, Black Peak, Mount Cook National Park, The Remarkables, and Westland National Park. Our guides are professional and friendly.
